Projects overview

Nanitor Projects are a key feature designed to enhance organizational cybersecurity by organizing and managing remediation efforts. This tool enables teams to collaborate on addressing vulnerabilities found in devices, servers, databases, and cloud infrastructures. Projects allow for the grouping of related issues, prioritization of critical security concerns, and tracking of remediation progress through automated calculations. Key Benefits:

  • Centralized Issue Management: Projects consolidate vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and missing updates into a single platform, making it easier to manage and prioritize security efforts.

  • Collaborative Workspace: Facilitates cross-team collaboration, ensuring that all stakeholders can contribute to and stay informed about the remediation process.

  • Efficient Project Tracking: With timeboxing and automatic progress updates, teams can set clear deadlines, monitor milestones, and achieve targets efficiently.

Nanitor Projects not only aid in fixing current vulnerabilities but also support strategic planning for future cybersecurity initiatives. By leveraging Projects, organizations can significantly improve their security posture through structured, collaborative, and targeted efforts.

Project types

Nanitor allows creating the following types of projects:

  • Issue resolution: Assign issues to a project to track progress on fully resolving them across your organization or within a particular set of assets.

  • Asset onboarding: Set a goal for a number of assets and then track your progress on onboarding those assets into the Nanitor system.

  • Asset issue resolution: Track the resolution of all security issues on a chosen set of important assets.

  • Asset health hardening: Set a health score target and track progress on hardening a set of important assets towards that target.

  • End-of-life assets: Upgrade or archive: Track progress on eliminating end-of-life assets in your organization, either by upgrading their OS or archiving the assets.
